Wedding - Catherine & Leonard

Just came back from a wedding dinner at Four Seasons Hotel.

It is a unique wedding IMHO in many ways, maybe i am suaku, but it is a very different dinner that i have experienced.

The wedding is held in Four Seasons Hotel is no stranger to myself. To held it on 20th floor is abit unusual. The number of table is 4! IMO, the view on 20th floor is good. There is a small balcony where i can take a peek from, it show various part of Orchard which i have not seem before.

Both have experienced previous marriage. Catherine have a daughter from previous marriage. This wedding dinner is meant for Catherine's friend which my sweetheart knew since secondary school.

It is not that i have not attend friend/related marriage twice! But this is different. For 4 tables, how much are you expected to break event point? I believe the point is more like announcement to close friends/relatives their union.

I know Catherine and her previous husband. I do not know who right/wrong. I believe Catherine and Leonard have come a long ways to be together given the obstacle laid before them. I admire the spirits they show in being together. It is more like Yuen Fen!

The wedding invitation states 7pm start, due to a misunderstood, we thought it is 7:30pm. I managed to reach the ballroom at 7:05pm. The dinner start at 7:20pm without much fanfare.

The dinner provide an opportunity for sweetheart to update on various classmate status. It is informative. The children run all over the place, mechiam like a playground! It is pretty noise at time.

The food is great, service is good(maybe due to the small crowd). Where do you experience waiter come across asking "sir do you want anything to drink - red wine/white wine/Beer ?

We leave around 9:20pm. The earliest i have left any Chinese Wedding Dinner. I came home and bath before 10pm!

Love is a very unique experience. You might be in love with someone and tomorrow it might be another person(for whatever reason). Treasure what you have or find someone that share the same sentiments.
