Makan Spree

Another Kayak another Makan Session. It seems strange that every feasting session come after Kayak session!

After hearing the good news from my sister-in-law on the relocation of the Famous Thai Village restaurant(due to the close down of Sembawang Shopping Centre), it has rekindle my interest to revisit it. It has been a long time since i have visited the joint; Although the standard has dwindle throughout the years, it still worth the occasional visit and it bring back memories of my previous visits - dated 10 years+ !!!

Since we are schedule to makan after kayak, taking this opportunity, i brought the makan kaki of Mark, Yong Wei and KJ for the food. It wasn't a good choice, as i forget/not aware of the guys eating preferences. Sorry guys, i will take note of it.

I was disappointed with the quality for the food today. The quality is getting to a stage whereby the standard CMI leow. The days at basement of SSC are gone....what a disappointment.:(

After the Thai feast, we proceed to Chong Pang Nasi Lemak. There is a chee chong fan stall which make it fresh according to Taz. Killing two birds in 1 stone. Unfortunately chee chong fan stall wasn't in operation. It was disappointing. We take a break and catch up over the drinks instead. Since we have other options available.

We proceed to Casurina Roti Prata next door shop which happen to sell chee chong fan. Alas the food is only meant for morning session, whereas evening is more on fish head steamboat. Another dead end! Haha.

Proceed to Alisen near Kovan. The food was pretty good. I have been to this joint on numerous times. This is the first time i taken the dishes that Taz order. Hehe...it is good nevertheless.

The makan spree didn't end there. We walk across to a selegie beancurd joint outlook and have our tao huey jiu. Hehe...my craze for Tao Hey jiu is fulfilled...:)

Actually i was thinking of the pub nearby for a drink to catch up on FA cup final. I don't think anyone will be interested! Haha....:)

It is getting late and we split out from there.
