Organised Run - No More

Running should be fun, interesting and carefree. Ok, occasional chuan, painful, slacking, sometime just go and have breakfast(makan)

Saturday is my usual LSD, No matter how rotten the week is(work or relationship), i always look forward to LSD with excitement. To me LSD is the most important aspect of training for long distance running. I can lose my pace and ability to run hill(slope), but i can't forgo the stamina which i have painstakingly built up over the years.

Even before HK Marathon, i find that i am losing interest in doing LSD. In fact, i started to dread another weekend coming. I miss the days where i ran alone along Kallang River, Esplanade area. Something with Francis along side for accompany(esp near events day). I can choose my route, run the pace i deem good(chiong whenever i like). sit at the riverside when i am tired. Hop into 7-11 to get some food/drink when i feel there is a need.

I ran alone yesterday(Tuesday at ECP), i did about 15-16km in 1:30hr with light drizzling. It is not a long run by any means, but i can feel the excitement that has been missing for a long time. I could have gone on for longer distance, if not because of upcoming JPMorgan event tomorrow(Thursday).

I do not like to be tied down. I need a space where i can do my own things.

I am tired of organising anything. I need to rest.

hear hear, i totally understand what u mean about organising fatigue!!
sometimes i just wonder what's the point ?
