Monday - slack day
I remember last year i was pretty sore for a couple of days after the event. So far, the feeling is still pretty decent.
Have a good workout this morning. Intend to give the legs a stretch on the bike, but find the thighs are pretty untouched by yesterday event. Give it a good early morning spin instead.
Nice day to start a Monday. :p
Head for the gym during break time. It was an easy workout, trying to ease those aching muscle into "shape". Can feel the damage of yesterday run gonna take a few days to recover. :-( At the mean time will have to slack a bit more prior to this weekend event. After which in Sept will try to mix it up with more longer bike ride. Gonna be a tough few months ahead.
Have a spin in the evening. It was clearly one of the longest spin i ever have. It is not the time that is long (50mins), it is the expectation that cause it to be very long.
I do not know why, my mind isn't on the bike. I have this nagging thoughts on this weekend event that it is going to be a siong exercise. Damn it.
It was a swimming pool tonight with 2 equally water babes next to me. In fact, one of them i recognise on the run yesterday. The way she run yesterday, should be around 1:50hr finisher.
