Malacca Makansutra aka 9 (15-09-07)

Woke up at 5am. It was slight drizzle when we started the run.:p It is a nice feeling to run in the early morning where the bulk of the folks are asleep, occasionally some motorist will drive past and cast a strange stare at this four xdd! Haha.

Make a loop back to the central square and end the run there(around 5km). We took a walk to Bukit Cina and climb up the hill in darkness. The rain refuse to wan and we miss our Sunrise. Sigh.

We proceed for 2 more sessions of breakfast(local). Walk around the proximity of Jonker street. Alas the shops are barely open so we couldn’t do much. Proceed back to Hotel for a short rest before we conitnue with our makansutra.

Head over to OCBC for the famous chick rice ball. Took a walk around the central includes St Paul Church before heading for cooler area, new shopping center and Mahkota Parade.

I was shocked to realize that I have dropped my wallet when Lionel ask for a credit card for Junie purchase back at Jonker Street! Ended up we walked back to Mahkota Parade to Basket Robins(which is the most likely area where i might lost my wallet). I was very fortunate that the shop have picked it and have everything intact to hand over back to myself! I was relieve and paiseh to have the rest of xdd suffer in the heat….:)

Head over to Auntie Lee for our dinner after a rest back in the hotel. Alas the place is booked by the tour and we aren’t got any seats! IDIOT! We make reservation more than a week ago and the information is clearly written with my name and phone number on their list and they refuse to give us table! WTF. I understand the need to look at the bigger picture, but they should at least contact me to cancel my table booking as a courtesy. This is very bad for Auntie Lee joint. Not to make thing ugly, we left for Ole Sayang for our Nyonya dinner.

It was crowded at Jonker street in the evening. A different atmosphere altogether in the early morning, afternoon and evening. Atmosphere is more like Chinatown that I am used to. It was an evening to chill out and listen to live music at Geographic. I get to know the shy person is actually a good drinker. :)

9 meals today. Hehe.
