Deepavali Day Run

Since the last run on a special day with a special friend. I have long for a trip back at Bukit Timah. Taking opportunity of the public holiday head over for another 10km run inside the MBT trail.

Had a 1.5hr of sleep before heading over to rendezvous point. It was raining, i hope it did not stop us from our run. 5 of reach the meeting point as on schedule. It was raining and threaten to get heavier.:( Apart from Tao(which hide inside the car), seo, baby, CCF and me are braving the rain trying to pull Tao out from her comfort limo! After deliberate for a while, we decide to push on despite the rains! Talk about runners seow mentality. There is no bad weather, except weak minds!

It was a good orientation run for most of us. The slopes are endless! One after another, steep and challenging! Ok, we take it easy. Walk more than run. Hehe...It is public holiday, must give some slack lah. haha. Someone even suan me for being slack! KNS! haha.

The rain cease shortly after we start our run. Cool, wet and muddy roads. I was complaining most of the time, according to tao!

It was an enjoyable run, apart from the tough terrain, some of the views are beautiful. It give me the feeling that i am being transported back in time to my kampung days. How i miss the old days. The only drawback is that i didn't bring along my camera, as it was raining in the beginning and i worry that my digital camera get spoilt because of rain(again!).

Finish the run in 1:15hr. A good run with great bunch of friends.

We have H20 freeze to quench our taste :p Head over for a quick bath before we retreat for our Tim Sum breakfast. :p

I was knackered when i reach home. :)
