Amsterdam

Woke up at 5am. Start the run towards the coast at 5:40am.

I was on my own heading towards the beach with general instruction from Mike. It is around 6km. I have my Garmin with me that I can backtrack if things get nasty :p

I started the run, around 16 deg c. HR was slightly faster at the beginning, after a while of stop/take picture, continue kind of momentum it stabilize. It was a nice run and look at different house(architect).

I didn’t reach the beach around 3:7km and U-turn as I have zig zag around neighbor to reach the beach. There is a highway that goes straight to the beach, but I can’t run there, so have to zip zag around and it is getting confusing, so I stop and return.

I reach back at the door step estimated 7.5km around 52mins. Decide it is too short, did another smaller loop (1.2km) within the neighbor to know the place better. A good run.

We head towards Amsterdam during mid morning. We park somewhere at the perimeter of Amsterdam and take a tram into the central area. I was informed a few hours of parking in central will cost $60 Euro! Day light robbery!

Mike brought me to Van Gogh museum. Wow cool paintings! Though I am not a painting lover, I do see some beautiful pictures and of course many “why that stupid picture” kind of painting as well.

We head to Hard Rock(Amsterdam) for meal. My 10oz burger looks GOOD! Head to merchandise side and couldn’t find anything userful..so skip.

The Gucci bag shop was closed on Sunday…too bad…J…I save u S$1k+ okay hor….

Head over to Red Light district for an eye opening session! Damn solid…interesting concept…some ladies are a GEM. Some are just CMI, some are like grandma! I guess everyone have different needs…haha…

Saw a few coffeshop as usual.

Dinner is at home nearby Chinese restaurant. Not much appetite after the day UP size! Haha…anyway, how good can Chinese food be in a ang moh country? Sigh…
