Progressive....
Body not feeling the strain from yesterday ride! Strange. Something is not right. There is minor ache, but not the kind you expect after a few hours of workout yesterday. Anyway the run will tell how the body react.
5 of us started the run this morning from ECP B1. Tao, Terrence, Yankee, Stuck and myself. Weather was fine as we slowly started off. Friendly pace, someone(which did a goofy this weekend) comment this morning.
The bad feeling that HR will burst up is back again this morning. Maybe i am paranoid. I keep having to check whenever we stop for water break. But somehow it holds. Maybe i keep holding myself back from going out at a faster pace, helps to contain it better.
It took a while to get into the momentum. It does feel good that the body don't show sign of fatigue from yesterday bike. Maybe too friendly pace yesterday. :)
Reach first stop at 30min. Hmm...pretty slow pace...but somehow didn't feel this way. Did a bit of water and heading over to 2nd stop. The engine is warm up, can feel the pace pick up a bit. Tao decide to head back early, as her coughing haven't recover.
Stuck and Yankee buddy up moving towards NSRCC. Terrence and myself running a distance behind. Saw Sotong at NSRCC that part on wheels. He is training for Desaru. Seem like going at a slacker pace!
It is good to have Terrence running next to me on the return path. I think i could have walk, if i am doing this alone. Having a buddy definitely help to push a little bit. We reach back at the first water stop slight around 2hours.
We opened up our pace around Mac area on the last few km to ensure we came back under 2:30hr. Despite the faster pace, i feeling strong until the end. I think it is good...as a sign of progressive...let see how much it transform in the next few weeks.
Meet up with Raven at the end of the run, doing his training run with Sumiko again. This Raven, getting too fast for everyone...1:30hr for Phuket 21km...cool...
