Tuesday - 2 Feb
I reached the pool as per norm. Sometime i just wish D-Day will come fast and don't need to "suffer" that long. At times, the reserve happens, can i have a couple of weeks longer to take train and get ready for the event which rarely happens to me. :(
If i feel it is long way to D-Day, it only means i am on schedule or ready for the event. Which is good to get ready early.
Water was okay when i jumped in and starts the swim. Feel abit uncomfortable at the beginning, which is expected, and soon i am going at a steady pace. As usual the speed demons keep overtakes me with ease. Pacer uncle is here again. He manage to open up a lap between us before i closed it up by 6 sets.
Seeing that i have catch up with uncle, he begins to put it more effort. Last week i manage to overtaken him 1 loop, after some effort, i manage to overtake him 1 lap.
I was going pretty strong and reluctantly stop at 2.6km(13 sets). Time check 66mins.
Hopefully every swim is like today! It will be fun!
CBD run in the evening. Zouk + Stairs is on the menu.
The pace is slightly fast, but doable for me. That are a few stops here and there and give me the opportunity to rest.
Did 2 sets of the stairs climbing and call it a day. Can do more, but don't want to push too much. Rest. Good Run
