80

As i paddle along on 80 rpm on the bike this morning. I keep telling myself i need to get the body use to the cadence. This is going to be my LSD pace on bike, I have to.

It is a mark increase from 60 rpm which i am very comfortable with. To be more efficient i can't go at 60 rpm with increase resistance, I have to go up on RPM and down the resistance, that was what i read on the web and from various cyclist.

Is it a bit too late now? With less than 18 days to go for the BIG race? I have to make all my bike session counts. Training will be technical to a point of uneventful.

If i get burnt on the bike leg, it is going to be a long 21km await in the scorching heat. I have been through worst before, i will survive the run.

It is a 40mins ride this morning as i was lated. The legs are getting abit use to the feeling of cycling at 80 rpm which is pretty good. If i go lower let say 78 rpm, the legs will automatic feel heavier and indicates that i need to ramp it up again. That should be the way, finding the efficient pace/effort.

A typical weight workout in the gym. Weather was abit cold today due to the rain. Another 3 sessions of workout today, if no hiccups along the way. No hard SPIN tonight...hopefully...:)

Went for a SPIN as schedule. Take it easy.

Cycling is suppose to be fun. Borrow the bike in East Coast for a SPIN is okay. Spent 1 hr wandering around is cool..Interesting. The breeze and wind blowing on your face and hair is refreshing.

But when you feel panting, legs going at high cadence, road still long ahead, perspiration non-stop. Want to rest also cannot, push on, push on.....then it is not fun. Maybe my approach is not right given the conditions, but i dread cycling long distance on the bike. It is not fun, plain boring to a certain extend. I enjoy cycle in the gym while i read newspaper/magazine. On the road, there are so many things to be careful and so many things could have happened. Not to mention the maintenance that come with owning a bike!

I am still new in cycling. Maybe i need to spend 1 year to enjoy cycle as in running. As of now, cycling suck!
