Muscle Retention
Surprisingly after this morning, the body didn't get the ache that i expected. I attributed that to the good stretching last evening lead by our physio mei mei. A good "ouching" 10-15 mins stretching exercise is definitely good to aid recovery. Need to improve on my sub-standard stretching leow.
Went on the bike in the morning. Can still feed the workout yesterday, after 20 mins it stabilise before going up another notch on the resistance. Last 5 mins another notch to complete the 50mins workout. A good ride to kick start the day.
My muscle have low muscle retention period. If i don't do certain workout for a few days to a week, i find it tough to go back to the standard i can sustain. Muscle have a memory, if you train more on speed, it will forget about endurance, likewise if you train to run long, you tend to lose the pace.
Now is the time to learn how to run slow and long. Going into Race Pace mode until D-Day.

Muscle have a bit of struggle to remember what "he" did the last time round, which is 4 days ago.:(
Did a typical weights workout during noon. A special focus on the squat this time since under scrutinise by the FT! Die lah, aiyoh hope can walk later!

Brought the bike to the neighbour bike shop and have the tire and tube changed. Really buay tahan about the frequent punchet. Damage is $90 for the tubes/tires, plus a couple of spare tubes. Auntie say only left with 1.25", so no choice loh, anyway i think my fat ass can't take 1" tube! Hmm....now i am left with 2 spare 1" tubes! At least i can bring over to Busselton as spare. Let see how to deal with them later. Next must get the tube repair kit. I remember seeing it in Giant. Must get it before i leave for Perth.
