Training Log - 13/3/08
The floor was wet. When I walk towards the pool, I can feel the coldness “raising” up from the ground. *shiver*.
Why am I doing? I should be in the bed! Or drinking a cup of hot kopi!
I was late for the swim. I was abit reluctant to wake up again! :)
Once I hit the water, there is no looking back. The intent is to go for 3km this morning.
I started off with purely breast stroke. The right shin start to give me trouble as the distance get longer. In order to save the shin, I start to switch to freestyle from time to time to relieve the ache. Once I get the rhythm get going, I swim to alternate lap using different stroke. Eventually back to the typical circuit routine.
1:19hr later I reach “home based”. It was a decent timing. I suspect I might have miscalculated the laps given the effort I put in. Well. It doesn’t matter. Mileage on swim have been moving steady according to schedule. Cool.
It was raining the whole day. It is difficult to head to the gym during lunch. So no choice but to skip. :p
It was a rush. I don't quite like it, but what can i do? Did a quick weight session at the gym after work. Short, sweet and sharp and leave the gym promptly. Phew! Make it in time for the gym and dinner later. :p
